Character Personality: Outwardly Krailen is a kind and gentle soul. Inwardly he is someone who struggles at times to hold his temper in check. He likes to talk about his animals and could talk about them for ages.
Character Background: Born and raised in Kerron Hold. His father was a Journeyman Beastcrafter and his mother was a hold cook. He used to spend his spare time wandering the outskirts of the hold watching the animals.
As soon as he was old enough he joined the Beast Hall and started his training. Krailen quickly advanced through the ranks within the hold. Upon reaching Journeyman status he spent most of his spare time wandering Pern learning what he could from the holders who raised various animals.
Roleplay Sample
"Come on little one breathe." Krailen whispered as he rubbed the pups chest
"Master..You wanted to see....oh....I was only gone a.." The boy blurted out as he skidded to a stop, taking in what was going on.
Krailen looked up at the boy and nodded towards the canine "Move that food and water nearer Missy so she doesn't have to move far." he answered not stopping what he was doing.
Walking over the boy paused as he passed Krailen "That the runt? Will it make it?"
"He should do." He lifted the puppies snout to his mouth and started giving quick short breathes all the time rapidly pressing on the pups chest.
What seemed like an age later but was only a few seconds the pup started wriggling. Krailen stopped and leaned over to set the pup next to his kin so that he can start feeding. "There you go little one."
"And who were you trying to impress this time eh?" His smile dropped as he turned to his apprentice. "I thought I told you to stay here and keep an eye on Missy. It was lucky I got finished up early or this could have been a bad delivery."
"I'm sorry Master I...I should have been here its just they..they were going to get that Firelizard clutch that my brother said he found..."
