Celebrity Name for Face Claim Ryan Kwanten
Character Personality: With amnesia, there’s always a change in one’s mind and one’s experience. Originally he tended to be more of an independent person but with this new twist he could become even more so, even paranoid but only time will tell if his smiles will still smooth or if a glare might replace his features all together.
Character Background: Leo’s life is a mystery for the most part, more to himself than to anyone else that did not know him before the incident. But which one? The Red Star had shrieked the land into pain, panic and freight and like others, Leo had attempted to flee or had it been to protect? During his whatever attempt it was, a very simple thing happened.
He tripped, and fell to hit a rock, hard. He fell into a coma and laid there until an injured and ill dragonrider came to his rescue, with the help of the rider and his dragon (at the cost of their lives) they managed to give Leo a fighting chance, bringing near and close to the Benden land where he was found yet again by a dragonrider, but this time it was a fleeing group.
Waiting and helping others flee, Leo was taken with them to a new safe haven, Dragon Weyr and where he now currently lays within their infirmary, waiting to wake up only to find that he knows nothing (amnesia).
Not even left with the knowledge of where he lived, or even his name or how it happened, the times passes for fate to give a willing hand in waking this man up from his coma, only to face a new and confusing challenge.
Roleplay Sample
As the land shuddered before him and the sounds of the screams shuddered within him Leo fell to the ground, the shakes quaking even his bones to submission as he looked around him. People ran, children stuck and scared, the parents no where to be seen. Higher he looked and he saw darkness as a shadow past swiftly over him, dragons.
They too fled.
Rising from the shaking snow Leo quickly moved towards the screams which sounded more like children, jumping over a small array of frozen rocks he landed on the frozen river stream. The craftsman cursed as he quickly reached to grab something, angry that he hadn’t notice the river he had always noted before.
Like a slide Leo swooped down, his arms waving frantically to grab anything to stop this cold rush but every touch of something to hold onto was taking from him as another shake of the earth caused him to lose his grip, the ice of the frozen water now digging into his form as he sped faster down.
The cold icicles of snow bristled into his face, blinding him for a moment until he felt his heart beat louder, slower, everything was slowing down. It was just for that moment, but it everything seemed so slow, so slow as he saw something. It was hard to see but in the snowy landscape he could just about make out the lining of the mouth of a cave, and hands… children’s hands as they waved, their pleas for help slithering into his ear.
All for that one moment.
The water within his eyes quickly iced away as everything sped up again and with an almighty yell he raised one of his hands and smashed it into the ice, his fingers breaking into the stream, the ice breaking into his flesh. The cold water quickly flowed out of cracked hole, freezing his hand and face as he yelled in agony.
Spreading his legs he braced his feet against the stream’s walls but he was quickly losing feeling his hand, the blood, pain, cold and ice burned at his skin as his whole body shaked. Pulling on his hand he attempted to reach with other hand but another shake of the land caused his footing to slip, the numbness now seizing his arm and flooding into his chest, his eyes fluttering closed.
His grip was gone, and he fell, following the stream where an ice cold rock bounded his body off the stream to fly in the air, his head colliding harshly into a tree’s trunk where his body followed suit only to fall once more to the cold floor.
Darkness took over.
