R’enh and Mnoranth Character Scroll Basic Facts:Age: 35 Birthdate: m4 d16 Birthplace: Smithcraft Hall Parents: Rohrlan Master Smith and Beleh Searched: 16 Impressed: 17 Original Weyr Home: Benden Weyr Wingleader New Position at Dragon Weyr: Weyrleader Backstory: Was originally a Journeyman Smith when he was searched. He has had several relationships in Benden Weyr and hold resulting in two children. A son Renhick by Lilia, Harper Master. Both of these are with the exodus. Another son by a Journeyman Weaver. While considerate of those who slake his dragonlust he takes particular care of his children’s mothers. His dragon repeatedly attempted to fly the Senior Queen of Benden Weyr but was unsuccessful due to her preference for Bronze Brath.
R'enh and Mnoranth knew the danger of the falling fire and tried to talk as many as possible into trying to escape to a safer location. Upon seeing the Weyrleader hit and gone forever between he returned to Benden to rescue as many as he could. His two sons and the bereaved Weyrwoman Sorelle were among those he could get out. Once making it to the ocean he met Maram and her band and together they helped organize the group and get them ferried across to the island ring that would eventually lead them to Dragon Weyr. Renhick and his mother Lilia were among them. During the journey R'enh sent out search parties and one under the command of B'lor found a nest of firelizards. The eggs were brought with them to the new Weyr. Upon arrival Chalarath rose and Mnoranth flew her to make R'enh Weyrleader. Their close association and partnership during the escape sparked feelings of more than friendship in R'enh which seemed to be returned by the Weyrwoman. (to be continued...) |

Summary of Important Events- R'enh sees the Benden Weyrleader die to a metorite and rescues the Weyrwoman Sorelle who is in deep grief over her loss
- R'enh leads a small contingent toward the coast and meets Maram and her Gold Chalaranth.
- Maram and R'enh coordinate the efforts to get all the now displaced riders/holders/crafters to a new home on an island believed to exist in the middle of the sea.
- R'enh flys out over the sea knowing there is an island they can escape to but most of the dragons will not be able to fly. He fixes the picture in his mind and transports /between/ back to their origin point.
- R'enh prevents the queen pair from flying first to the island
- He goes to the island instead with T'nev and is impressed by the browrider. Places him in charge of the first wave and personally escorts the second wave.
- He sends out patrols and a search of their forward path before finally going to sleep.

Relationships B'lor, rider of Bronze Imahyth Acquaintance. To his mind B'lor is a strong leader and could have made a fine Weyerleader and that is why Renh selected him to lead the second wing.
Chloe - rider of green AlorathFormer weyrmate and friend. Mnoranth has caught Alorath on several occasions. He admires her choice in a weyrmate though he has his doubts the man will be able to deal with the realities of a greenriders life.
Lilia - Master Harper, TeacherLilia is formerly his weyrmate. She is a sweet and caring woman and the mother of my son Renhick. They are on friendly terms. He made certain she and Renhick were safe and came with us on the trek from Benden to Dragon Weyr.
Maram - rider of gold Chalarath, Sr. Weyrwoman of Dragon WeyrMaram is much more than he'd expected when he found her on the beach and together they led the group of survivors to safety. Mnoranth won her first flight at DW and thereby made him Weyrleader. To his surprise, she has touched his heart.
Sorelle, rider of gold Sivarith, former Sr. Weyrwoman of Benden WeyrR'enh often smiles when he thinks of Sorelle. Mnoranth has chased her Sivarith time after time during his years at Benden though he was never chosen. She was always loyal to her chosen mate. He saw N'lon and Brath hit by a meteorite and the pair went between never to emerge. He personally looked after the broken weyrwoman during their trek to find safety. He still feels quite protective of her.
Tobias, Craft Master TannerTobias is an acquaintance by his association with Chloe and his status as Craftmaster. He is on the council by virtue of his rank. I think he is a strong leader for his craft. We'll have to see if he can deal with his obvious possessiveness toward a certain greenrider.
Zorenh, CandidateR'enh has just recently discovered this son. He never knew about him. He was never told he had a son by that particular greenrider when he was a young man. He is trying to get to know the young man. |
