Below the heavens stood a young boy, slowly turning into a man. Beside him was a tall, muscular blue dragon male, his eyes swirling with color. The dragons muscles flexed slightly, his wings stretching. The night sky reached down with sparkling moonlight, the very way the boy moved as he started walking back to the cave was a big rush. He returned with a harness, hand woven many months ago. He thought back to the tiring hours of work he had done getting it right, building it time after time... And finally one morning he had gotten it right. He smiled at his dragon, watching as a purple and white mix swirled through his eyes. The dragon said nothing, for he need not say anything. He was just as nervous as A'sh was.
Slowly, A'sh started to put on the riding straps and saddle like seat. Once it was fastened, he mounted. "Promise you won't drop me?" He asked and the dragon grunted nervously, a tinge of annoyance in it. He smiled, patting the blues neck. "I was only joking!" He reassured him, to which the blue dragons eyes swirled red.
"You need to trust me more." He complained to him angrily, and with that took off. His wings beat against the empty air, carrying him close to the stars, or at least so it felt. A'sh felt a feeling of adrenaline and slight fear rush through him. Although he trusted his dragon, mine was right. He needed to trust more, and part of that meant not fearing that his dragon was going to pull some crazy stunt midair.
Sensing his emotion, purple and pink color swirled back into Securths eyes. "I'm sorry I upset you, mine. Perhaps we should land early?" But A'sh shook his head. "No... Lets fly!" He said and the dragon gladly swooped downward, then back upward, twirling around in circles. A'sh got slightly dizzy, but it was a good type of dizzy.. a sort of thrill that you only get from modern day roller coasters, except this.. as A'sh could never imagine for he would never know what a roller coaster is or could be, was ten times better compared to that.
