M11 D15 Mid-morning Eralynn was in a trance. Completely enamored by this mystery-man. His silhouette snaked away from her every time she made a move to draw him near her… and oh how badly she wanted to. His handsome, muscular arms were so close. How did she manage to miss them every time??? If only she could recall a name… or for that matter… a face. The surely well-defined good-looks of this man she desired so much were hidden away in the shadows of the sheets on her bed. They blanketed him; concealing everything about him that she yearned to know. And as she made one last reach for him… Era opened her eyes to find that mystery silhouette vaporize, leaving her alone and as in lust as ever. Mind still in the fog of her dream… she couldn’t quite grasp what had just happened. **Where did he go…?...** she thought sullenly to herself. Then the bloodcurdling roar of Liirith’s jolted Eralynn into reality. It was time to Rise. And no male dragon here could possibly catch us!! As Liirith dove into the feeding pens to blood her breakfast, Eralynn scrambled to throw on a loose-fitting tunic; one that was long enough to cover her bottom at least. There was no time for breeches or boots. She needed to be in the flightroom now. Before she was completely absorbed into Liirith’s lust and lost all control of her own body. As Liirith finished blooding her first deer, she bugled out a second challenge to the males now rousing themselves and watching her take her fill eagerly. Then, as quickly as the first, she grabbed a second victim, sucking greedily the blood from its remains. Finished, and then glowing more than ever, Liirith then knew it was time. Throwing herself into the sky, the largest green in the Weyr rose, screeching defiance towards the males that sought to catch her. No, they would not catch Liirith-Era quickly! Beating her emerald wings, she was a green-streak that darted across the morning sky. Who is brave enough to try to catch me??? Tag all! Even you new ones! Dragons wouldn’t be too picky about formalities anyway. Sorry about creating the thread a day early...but I'm not sure if I would be able to be on the 9th!

‘Liirith rises, I will win her!’
The booming voice of his dragon woke him from a deep sleep. Z’ris perched himself on the edge of his bed and rubbed his eyes, trying to compose himself as best he could. It would be nice if occasionally a flight would take place after breakfast. Was that too much to ask?
Kardenzoth was in no mood to scold him. He was entirely too focused on the prize. He perched himself on his ledge and waited for the majestic green to take to the skies. As she past him and shouted her challenge he lunged himself into the air and gave chase. “Lovely Liirith, I will follow where you lead and be there to catch you in all your glory.”
Z’ris was spurred on by Kardenzoth’s pride and passion. Rising from bed, he pulled on some breeches and a tunic, ran his fingers through his hair and rushed to the flight room.

J’lor could feel Tonuth’s hunger and knew he was blooding a kill in the pens.
**Who**
Liirith came the succinct reply. He could almost feel the hot blood going down his own throat as he pushed his breakfast away. He nodded and rose from his chair.
Throwing on a jacket he made for the outside stairs that were closest to the flight room. **on my way**
He hadn’t chased since the disastrous gold flight and J’lor was happy the brown was feeling the urge to leap back into the sky again.
Arriving in the flight room behind a couple of other riders he stood in the loose circle around Eralynn. Just then he heard both in his mind and with his ears the roar as she launched and he jumped after her.
The blend of their minds began and he could see the large green darting ahead of them all into the sky and challenging them to catch her.
Who is brave enough to try to catch me???
I am strong and will fly you well beautiful one.
J'lor swayed as his mind blended with the big brown.

K'rill strode calmly, confidently, into the Flight Room. He was dressed lightly, informally, his equipment stowed in his quarters. He trailed a long, scaled necklace between his fingers, feeling the smooth caress of the snake-like metal weave drift over his hands slowly. He pondered it, distantly, reclining comfortably, closing his eyes, and letting the tides of lust sweep over him. His lips curled up into a smirk, as he heard Morisath's challenging cry, echoing through the Weyr - Or was it in his mind? He couldn't tell the difference, anymore, and simply ceased to care.
Morisath leapt into the air, wings snapping with a sound like cannon-fire, arresting his descent with a very sudden extension of striated wings, sunlight shining golden through the thin webbing, down on the bowl below. And then he began to climb. Rapidly. Wings scooped massive bursts of air, surging upward toward Liirith with sweeping strokes of his wings, half-mantled into a forceful sprint.
'I come, Liirith, and you will give yourself willingly to me! I will outfly every last Dragon, 'till my wings can carry me no more!' Morisath bugled another triumphant cry.

Imahyth had been Sivarith's mate, but he knew that the Gold would not rise again. And dragons were practical about these things. The bronze had no problems with chasing other females now. Liirith was a lovely green, strong as well as beautiful. He bugled as he leaped into the air, joining the other suitors. He was the only bronze this time, and that suited him just fine. He crooned to the green, his eyes whirling violet and crimson. Liirith, I am brave enough! I challenge these others and chase you,[/color] he told her, his voice rich and seductive.
B'lor had been eating breakfast. With a sigh, he abandoned his cereal and went to the Flight weyr. J'lor was there, and K'rill. He had to chuckle. In a Weyr this small, you always seemed to run into the usual suspects at Flights. He bowed to Eralynn, smiling at the attractive Greenrider.

As Liirith darted higher in the sky, the handsome suitors began rising to her call, crooning sweet nothings to her glowing form.
Lovely Liirith, I will follow where you lead and be there to catch you in all your glory. Came the handsome call from Kardenzoth… quite the handsome Blue.
I am strong and will fly you well beautiful one.
I’m sure you would like to, handsome one. We shall see.
I come, Liirith, and you will give yourself willingly to me! I will outfly every last Dragon, 'till my wings can carry me no more!
I give myself willingly to no one! She hissed in disdain to Morisath. Only skill at catching will win you this prize! She bugled again another challenge to them all, caught up in the rage of her lust. How dare they assume she wanted to give up??? No. They would have to take her!!!
Liirith, I am brave enough! I challenge these others and chase you!
The sound of the big bronze’s voice pleased her. Even the Bronzes were taking interest! But why wouldn’t they?
Then fly well! I dare you all to try!!
As the numbers grew, her desire to out-fly them all strengthened… but not before she toyed with them first; testing to see who exactly was worth her attention.
As the males surged upward together, Liirith folded her wings, wrapping them tightly to her body and dove through her chasers- avoiding their futile attempts at catching her.
Who would be capable of turning directions that fast?
Who would tire of her games?
Quickly, she spread her wings once more and surged upward again, away from the males now trying to maneuver themselves in her direction.
Who would come the closest?

The green was bigger than the normal green, almost the size of a blue. Her wingspan making her only slightly less agile than some he'd caught in the passed, like Radanth. Tonuth was focused on Liirith and all thought of Radanth was gone from his mind.
His concentration served him with patience as he tried to anticipate her next move. She was glorious in the sunlight. The glow of her healthy hide pulled him to ever more valiant efforts. She swooped and dove then rose again into the clouds, but her bright body wasn't lost in the mist. He still knew exactly where she was.
He crooned as he followed but closed the distance cutting inside her flight arc. He was close but so were the other chasers.
His body thrummed with excitement and J'lor took a step closer to Eralynn his fingers brushed her shoulder as Tonuths wingtip came close to Liirith. He banked over her but not quite close enough to snatch her into his grasp.
Once again a mighty sweep of his wings brought him back toward her wheeling in mid air over a tractless sea.
"Lovely Liirith," he crooned. He wanted nothing more in this moment but to fall with her from the skies of Pern.

Morisath snarled as she dropped past him, but he continued gaining height - Any advantage! Anything. Every meter counted, and his wings ate up altitude at a rapid clip.
Finally, as she began coming back up toward him, he half-mantled his wings, and did a brief, sprinting flight a short distance out of the way, then dove diagonally back at her, arcing a swoop to catch her at the end of it - Without losing too much altitude if he missed. His eyes swirled with intensity and lust, the colors mixing and spiraling within the depths of his hungry gaze. Finally, she shifted, as he drew near - And he twisted his body, attempting to nearly land on top of her, intending to force her down beneath him, wings prepared to spring open and claw for more altitude, if his ploy failed.

Kardenzoth was not dissuaded as the other, larger males joined in the chase. They would have to rely on strategy to catch the alluring green. Kardenzoth’s speed and agility would enable him to keep up with Liitith’s impressive aerobatics. He was hot on her tail. Following her every move as she dove through their throng and then quickly spun to rise once more.
It was one thing to follow the gleaming green hide. It was another thing to dodge the other males that darted in and out of his path. He would gain ground, only to lose it once more as some larger beast attempted to swipe at Liirith. But Karenzoth was persistent and patient; never taking his eyes off her extraordinary hide as she skillfully soared through the air. He let out another alluring bugle to tempt her to him, letting her know he would follow her every movement until she chose him.

As the green dove through the crowd of males, Imahyth tried to grab her, even though he knew it was pointless to do so this early in the game. She evaded them all easily, and Imahyth found himself flailing to follow her. He was built for endurance and strength, not agility. The bronze tucked in his wings and dove, only to find Liirith rising again.
Trying not to reveal his frustration, Imahyth ascended higher, following the lovely green. His only advantage was that, despite the maneuvers, he wasn't that tired yet. It remained to be seen whether Liirith would allow herself to be captured by a bronze who appeared clumsy.
He flew to the left, positioning himself parallel to the green, but a respectful distance away from her. He was ever watchful for an opportunity to catch her, but he felt like he still had some work to do to impress her.
