-=Fifth day, first Sevenday=-
K'rill lounged idly, atop a rock, basking in the sunlight, like his Morisath, so far above.
Morisath was not, however, perched. He was flying around, idly practicing turns and formations, and fleshing out little ideas he had for dealing with the next Threadfall. 'Mine is in the Weyr Bowl,' Morisath passed to Imahyth, 'And he awaits yours, there.' The tone was warm, and friendly; K'rill's long-overdue relaxing was affecting both himself, and his dragon. It was like a weight had been lifted.
K'rill thoughtfully withdrew a small bundle of scrolls from his satchel, and looked over it, leafing through the various techniques he and Morisath had brainstormed in the past few days.
After a moment, however, he tucked the scrolls away, again, and just lay back. It'd been so long, it felt like, since he'd just sat back and enjoyed the sunshine. It was nice. "Roux," he chuckled, staring up at the clear, bright sky, "Roux," he repeated, thoughtfully. "Shard of a girl, that," he mused to himself, lacing his fingers behind his head. His eyes closed. He could almost feel the warmth of her body against his, her breathing slow and steady, her caress like the sunlight across his skin. Unconsciously, he gave a warm, relaxed smile.
And he awaited B'lor.

Like any sane dragon on a day as sunny as this, Imahyth was also sunning, stretched out on his ledge. His bronze hide, recently oiled, shimmered in the light. Star was curled up on his back, snoozing and enjoying the sun herself. B'lor had been enjoying some down time, so he was a little annoyed when Imahyth informed him that K'rill needed to meet. Hopefully it would be a quick question.
My rider will be along shortly,[/color] Imahyth told Morisath. Meanwhile, he wasn't planning to move at all. Star did wake up, chirping and flying to her owner's shoulder. She wanted to see if there was anything interesting in the Weyrbowl.
"Hello, K'rill," B'lor said as he reached the rock in the middle of the Weyrbowl. "It appears that not only the dragons are sunning today." He regarded the Brownrider, feeling a faint stab of jealousy when he thought of how much time K'rill and Roux had been spending together. The beautiful Greenrider had remained a mystery to B'lor, but it appeared that K'rill was having better luck. And B'lor didn't like being second best.

K'rill smiled, and stood, "B'lor, there you are. How have you been?" He stepped forward, and down from the rock, extending a hand. "It's a lovely day for it." He chuckled, and shrugged absently. "Morisath seemed to be enjoying it, so I figured I may as well take the time."
His eyes were bright, and clear. His grip was strong, and firm. Focused. He seemed a far cry from even just two days before. Clarity shone in the flame rekindled in his eyes. His clothes were fresh, and well-maintained. He was clean, obviously freshly bathed. The change was like night and day. He stood very certainly, as if planted to the ground, immovable, except by the driving will which shone in the intensity of his gaze.
K'rill seemed back to his old self - But something had changed. It wasn't very certain what.
