Celebrity Name for Face Claim Leonardo Dicaprio
Character Personality: E’ral is of a quieter disposition. His character is that of loyalty and will. He is a true and caring friend to those he knows, but reserved to those he does not know. His strength of will has been shown repeatedly in weyr matters and the sheer tenacity to survive. He was not always that way, having grown up quite outgoing and caring to those around him. His life has not been easy, like many in the current situation, however this has made him more reserved than ever, not keen on making the friends he needs.
Character Background: Emreal’s childhood was not much to look at, being that of a healer’s son in Telgar Hold. He never did take to being a healer; the work involved never did satisfy his tastes. As a result, he spent most of his childhood and early adolescence roaming the lands around Telgar Hold. He began to learn how to survive on his own. Having learned the important information about the nature of pernese plants from his parents, he quickly learned the other skills of survival. By the time he was 15 turns old, he was spending weeks at a time out in land, enjoying the interval on his own.
The fact that he was searched at 15 seemed to be a complete accident. If he hadn’t built a fire that night, perhaps the dragon and his rider may not have found him. However, the point is moot as he impressed soon after. He and his blue dragon, Agoneth, joined Telgar weyr and began life as a weyrling. Several months after his 18th birthing day, Agoneth flew a green and E’ral became weyrmates with black haired Bria. The next turn they moved from the weyr into a structure E’ral had constructed under the lip of a cliff shelf. The two lived happily there for about a turn, only coming to the weyr for practice, gatherings, and other necessary ventures.
One night however, after a particularly later gather, E’ral made his way back to his homestead, he arrived to see his Bria being held at knifepoint by a group of holdless thieves. Her dragon stood several yards back projecting such great fear that even he could feel it. In their haste to grab the couples belongings, the one holding the knife, tripped as he moved himself and Bria from the entrance and E’ral. As he fell, the knife slipped, effectively ending Bria’s life. The rage that filled E’ral prompted him to move, even as Agoneth let out the baleful keen and Bria’s green went between one last time. The fight that ensued ended in E’ral’s left leg getting sliced along the calf and the thieves escaping.
Though the leg wound healed over, the limp remained. And the scar within E’ral mind and heart did not fade. After the incident, he became more of a recluse and hardly appeared at the wery for anything but wing practice.
At the time of the cataclysmic events He had only the time to grab his riding gear and basic survival gear. In the time that has followed E’ral and Agoneth have been island hopping surviving in the waste as best as they can on the limited supplies until one day, dirtied and tired, they came from between to a populated Island….

The shallow shelter that E’ral had dug out of the sand and covered with a base lean-to did not offer much protection from anything but the wind. Still, the man sighed in accomplishment. Stroking his short beard, he lounged under the shade of his makeshift shelter. The sky was clear above him, but around the horizon E’ral could still see the ash clouds that followed the eruptions. Agoneth lounged a little further down the beach enjoying the sun on his brilliant blue hide.
Do we have to leave this time? This Island actually has sun and lacks that gritty sky sand. Agoneth asked, eying his rider with a curiosity whirling blue in his eyes.
“I’d love to dear one, but the food here wont last more than a day or two. I know this one is nice, and I hate the ash as much as you, but we need to find a place where you can get a decent meal as well.”
I will last two more days do not worry about me. The blue dragon replied, laying his head back onto his forearms.
E’ral laid down to enjoy the sun as well. Unfortunately his mind began to wonder, and the recesses of his mind were a lot darker than the ash covered islands he and Agoneth had called home recently. Just as his demeanor grew darker and his thoughts began to wander to horrors of recent time, Agoneth reached towards E’ral’s mind with calming thoughts.
Do not think on those things, I am here, I will always be here with you
E’ral relaxed at the assurance and drifted off into a light nap.
He was awoken by the mental nudges of his partner. Groggily he sat up, still not understanding what Agoneth was he looked at his dragon. Agoneth’s eyes whirled with excitement and anxiety.
“What is it, dear one?”
There are dragons near by, to the north, a good many of them.
E’ral jumped up and donned his riding gear. He stopped only long enough to grab one of the red fruits that grew nearby before mounting the blue dragon and taking to the skies.
