--- This EVENT thread means that a character can be in two places at once: In the main RP AND in the Event. ---
Orla had known it was coming but the glowing hide on Beth was the final confirmation. She'd been proddy for days and Orla's temper had shown it. T'fon hadn't deserved the treatment she'd given him recently. She didn't know where he was this morning. They'd gone back to their own weyr last night and she'd slept alone. He knew what was coming so she didn't understand why he was being this way. Since Beth hadn't stirred yet she got dressed in a gown that simply wrapped with a tie at the waist. Then she heard Beth screech and launch from the lip of their weyr . Orla ran for the flight room as she hear Beth Catch me if you can you earthbound slugs she cried to all the males in the weyr. What passed for dragon laughter floated down from the path she'd taken. Who is the best today? She called. The glowing green body rocketed up faster than an of her chasers could match. She hung in the air a moment to flirt her tail at them. Her call promised delight but only if they could catch her. Tag Any

Post by E'dwyn and Yzarth on Sept 20, 2010 17:34:41 GMT -5
E'dwyn watched as Yzarth blooded yet another of his kills. It seemed just yesterday that he had risen to catch the green Radanth. Now he had chosen to fly Beth, another green. "I'm beginning to think you prefer greens, Yzarth," he told his dragon. "Greens are easier to catch than golds, mine," came the reply. That was true, E'dwyn guessed. Browns rarely if ever caught golds and greens had been the only female dragons until the silver had been born from Chalarath's clutch. Yzarth was young but even he couldn't match a bronze chasing a gold for long.
But who knew? Maybe Yzarth would get lucky this time. At nearly twice the size of a green, he could easily keep up with her. That and his age was a factor. "Fly well then, Yzarth," E'dwyn told his dragon as he watched the big brown take off into the sky. All that left E'dwyn to do was head to the flight room with the rest of those whose lifemates were chasing Beth's rising form. He smiled, hearing his' bugling cry to the female above him.
"Beth, I, Yzarth, give chase!"

Post by K'rill and Morisath on Sept 21, 2010 8:11:15 GMT -5
Morisath roused himself from his Weyr, wings spreading with a rolling snap like hollow thunder, as wind caught in the thick, leather sails of his broad wings.
He lunged from the ledge, and swiftly prepared himself for the hunt, gathering a deep, forceful breath within him, sides swelling outward in anticipation, as he schooled his body for the rigors of flight, forcing down his heart and breathing rate, preparing to match his breathing cycles to the movements of his body.
When Beth shot up into the sky, Morisath paused, just long enough to give an answering cry.
'Come to me, lovely Beth, and the sky shall be our Weyr, and for the night, I'll show you what it is like to be Queen amongst the clouds!'
Far beneath, dressed in light, formfitting wher-leather, K'rill strode into the Flight room, and was immediately buffeted by the waves of passion and lust that siezed the Flight Room; Almost a physical force.
Preparing himself in a different way, he took slow, steady steps toward Orla, and stood before her, for a moment, his body perfectly still; Nearly shaking with the effort of control. He reached out, one hand, and placed it on her forearm, shivering with the effort of making such a small movement, only. "Come to me, tonight, Orla. Let Yours and Mine couple amongst the clouds; And I shall show you our kingdom amongst them."
The carefully rehearsed words were turbulent with Passion, and he forced himself to slowly step back, bend down, kiss her hand, as he took it, and then step just a few feet away, dropping to the bench, panting with anticipation, and exertion, as the Flight flooded into his body, sweeping him away in a wordless torrent of lust and passion, chest rising and falling forcefully as his body fought to weather the violent tides which swept about the room like a tempest, swallowing up every last shred of consciousness in complete, and total blackness.
Weeks of work had gotten him to that point; Drilling constantly his self-control. Even so, it was barely enough.

Beth turned and twisted, leading the males who followed her in a merry dance through the skies above the weyr.
"Beth, I, Yzarth, give chase!"
Several blues and a pair of very nice browns followed her.
'Come to me, lovely Beth, and the sky shall be our Weyr, and for the night, I'll show you what it is like to be Queen amongst the clouds!'
She climbed higher flirting her tail at the browns letting them get a little closer before she dove suddenly toward the blues and Raarinth. But she misjudged the gap slightly coming too close to Morisath.
Their wings brushed and she quickly darted sideways but in dodging Morisath she flew directly into the path of the big brown Yzarth who lost no time in claiming his prize.
Orla cried out in surprise along with her lifemate then surrendered to the rush of dragonlust and the arms that enfolded her.

Post by Roux and Radanth on Sept 23, 2010 15:11:16 GMT -5
When the bugles began to sound in the Weyr, Roux knew another green was on the rise. Getting up from her reading, she made her way past Radanth, who was napping on her couch and out to the ledge of her weyr so she could take a look into the sky. It was Beth. Several blues were already in pursuit and she could see a few browns taking to the skies after her. She hated to admit it to herself, but she knew the reason she took the trouble of looking. She wanted to see if a particular dragon was in pursuit…
They were too far off for her to discern, so in an effort to sate her curiosity, she quickly made her way down to the flightroom. She thundered down the back stairs and rushed to the door of the flightroom to take a look inside. Orla stood in the center of the room, surrounded by the riders of Beth’s suitors all lost in the hazy fog of flightlust. Behind them were the flight moths, eagerly awaiting the attentions of the loosing riders.
Roux stood just inside the doorway, scanning the crowd, looking for the man she sought.

K'rill gave a short, coarse laugh, and rolled his eyes. He stood, fingertips trembling slightly with flightlust, forcing his body still. He knew exactly what he would do. He would leave the Flightroom, grab some wine, and go find -
He came up, short, recognizing the woman in the door.
Without waiting a moment further, three short, rapid strides carried him to her. A hand lifted, fingers stroking up her cheek, across her neck - And attempting to grip the hair at the back of her head with almost violent intensity, drawing her lips to his with a mixture of rage, and overpowering lust. His other arm would slide around her waist, drawing her forcefully against him, pulling her fully into his power.
It would only be a few short, passionate moments, however, before he would pull her off toward one of the Flight Chambers - If she acquiesced.
With an inward smirk, he somehow suspected she would. And happily.
Tag Roux, and End both if she agrees!

Yzarth climbed on, higher and higher after Beth until she changed course and tried to cut a gap between a couple blues and the other brown chasing her, Morisath. He watched as she brushed wings with the other brown and for a moment it looked as though Morisath would win another flight. But then she turned and flew straight into his path. Yzarth wasn't about to let his rival brown win another female over him and wasted no time it claiming her as his own.
Back in the flight room, E'dwyn was, as were the other riders that were in the room while theirs chased the green female, in the full throws of dragonlust. Like a moth to the flame, he was drawn to Orla, Beth's rider, the more the flight dragged on. He pulled her into a room just as his caught Beth in the air. As Yzarth and Beth fell together from the sky, E'dwyn give into the dragonlust with Orla.

She roused from sleep to see a dark haired rider. Brown she remembered from her joining with Beth. A soft smile lit her lips it had been a good flight even though T’fon’s Raarinth had been her aim Beth was fairly purring with contentment where she lay entwined with her new mate.
‘Happy my love’ she asked her life mate.
He is strong and flew well. I made a mistake and he was there.
But Orla could hear the satisfaction in her tone. She wouldn’t hear the end of it for a month she was certain.
She rolled closer to the brown rider and placed her hand on his chest.
“Nice flight.” She said with a smile.

E'dwyn awoke to a sore feeling in his body and a thought as to where he was and why he was so sore. Then he felt the hand on his chest. Looking down, he saw the blonde beauty laying right there with him and it all came back to him. His Yzarth had won her Beth. "Nice flight," she said, smiling. He smiled back at her. "That it was," he replied.
"I told you I'd be the one to catch her," came the thought voice of his brown. "You sound proud of that," was E'dwyn's reply, to which he got a snort. "Why shouldn't I be proud? I flew well and won." E'dwyn just smiled.
"Yzarth's pretty happy with himself too," he said out loud. He snaked an arm about her waist, hugging her to him.

She got the impression of sunlight on the heights and an extremely satisfied Beth entwined with Yzarth. She chuckled and stroked her fingers up and down the winners chest.
Oh yes both dragon and rider were happy with the choice fate had made for them. The arms she dimly remembered were strong and they’d paired very well.
He was young and very nice looking and the dragon lust hadn’t completely faded. She wanted him again and her hands began to tell him how much. She wanted to have her wits about her this time so she nibbled on his ear and breathed…
“Again?”

E'dwyn smiled at her trailing her fingers up and down his chest. She was beautiful now that the dragonlust had all but waned and wasn't clouding their vision with the want of the others body. Fate had chosen well. Well, fate and the dragons. He chuckled a little at the feel of her hands roaming over his body yet again. It seemed he wasn't the only one with dragonlust left to burn. "Again?" she asked. E'dwyn pulled her up for a kiss, more than happy to oblige her. Tag Orla, if you want to continue
