To help the Admin and moderators out, we need your assistance with the Plot Summaries. If you want your character or characters included in the plot summaries posted, YOU will need to submit a summary for what has happened for your character since the beginning of the New Weyr (YES, it's a LONG time, but we've had a hard time keeping up with the summaries which is why we are changing things now. ) See the current Summaries HERE to see where we left off. Please submit your own summary of everything that has happened to your character in the SPRING either by replying here to this thread OR PMing it to the Dragon Admin account by November 10 (sooner would be better!!) -- Also, if possible, please list all thread titles that fit this timeframe that relate to your summary so we can link them in the Site Summary post. This summary will include everything that took place up to and including the first Impression of Dragons at Dragon Weyr and will end with the Clutching of Eggs on the Sands by Sivarith and with what happened DURING Threadfall. We'll deal with the aftermath of Thread as part of our current Plot. Timeline of this summary: Month 7, 2nd Sevenday for the more recent events. Questions, please ask any of the admin!! NOTE: If you do not submit a summary your character will not be included in the main summary for the site.
Summaries Received: J'lor and Tonuth Nerys and Shymorth Echo Brekka and Panitath

My Summary...It's short. Nerys hasn't done much since the hatching I'm afraid: ----------------
Nerystimon was settling into life in the new Weyr, having met some of the other candidates, when the time for the egg hatching approached. When she stood on the sands, she found herself more nervous than she realized. That was until the moment Crimson Shymorth burst forth from his shell and called to her. Nothing could have prepared her for that moment in time.
Most of her time since then has been spent in her Weryling classes and taking care of Shymorth as he grows. Nerys (as she’s now known), did chop off her hair at the recommendation of the acting Weyrlingmaster J’lor. In recent weeks, she’s let her hair grown back in just as Shymorth continues to grow in size.

J’lor tried valiantly to comply with R’enh’s request that he watch over and ‘do whatever it takes’ to keep Sorelle stable. He couldn’t bring himself to deceive her by pretending to be his brother N’lon in her bed. So he consoles himself and relieves the stress with his friend and former weyrmate Roux. Yet Tonuth and Sivarith seem inseparable.
Then the first clutch of eggs is hatched and J’lor takes them over as Weyrling Master guiding them through their initial feedings and lessons. After lessons one day he watched Tonuth and Sivarith fly off to the heights together and went to find Sorelle, she’d been pouring over records and was mumbling something about the ‘color of blood’ and distressed about the new color of red dragonets that had hatched. J’lor helped bandage her injured hand and somehow she finally realized he was not N’lon and they finally kissed as J’lor and Sorelle.
When Radanth rose, Tonuth gave chase but Sivarith knocked him out of the flight and a frustrated J’lor took a moth to a waiting cot not knowing it was Sorelle.
As a complete surprise to everyone in the Weyr Sivarith rose a final time when they’d all thought she was done. This time Tonuth gave it his all to win her but she chose Imahyth instead. J’lor in his dashed hopes was angry and frustrated and took it out on the moth unlucky enough to get him.
Roux came storming into his Weyr angry at what had happened in her flight but J’lor is devastated by his own actions and asks if he’s ever hurt her in his flightlust. She tells him it’s happened but that it’s to be expected; sometimes things get rough for a moth. J’lor buries himself in his work with the Weyrlings and their instruction becomes his main focus.
First Threadfall comes to Dragon Weyr and J’lor receives a minor injury quickly repaired by the healers. Tonuth was unharmed.

Post by Echo and Anayeth on Nov 1, 2010 17:17:21 GMT -5
Echo ended up posting herself as a watch-person of sorts when Chalarath began clutching. She was so psyched out that she couldn’t sleep. But, with Chalarath’s successful clutching, Echo returned to her normal, daily routine. She was quickly searched to be a Candidate in Chalarath’s clutch, but she was saddened when a dragon did not Impress itself to her. However, she was quite happy that Ceinwen had Impressed to the Gold while the Silver Impressed to Brekka.
Fast forward a couple sevendays and Sivarith lifted herself up into the air for her last Flight. Echo, having found herself in the need of a Brownrider whose Brown had injured himself during the beginning of the Flight, was tripped up by a particularly lust-filled R’gant. The two spent a quick amount of time making out in the most insane way—against the wall. After this strange occurrence, Echo forgot about the encounter, as most would in a Weyr.
When Thread fell, Echo was the only fully-trained Dragonhealer stationed in the Infirmary, if at all. Echo led a couple apprentices to help the dragons, and she herself sewed up an unfortunate Green’s wing. Sivarith, now egg-heavy, helped as well, but Echo and Sorelle did not cross paths besides for Echo to thank the Gold for helping the Green down.
The clutching was quite possibly the worst point in Echo’s life thus far (that she remembers). After finding out that she was pregnant only a sevenday ago, and after finding that Hatral, the Lord Holder died, Echo found herself in a semi-horrid state. With Sivarith’s clutching, Echo was stretched thin and, though she helped the unconscious Sivarith clutch, Echo’s thoughts focused more on her pregnancy rather than the Gold. She kept her wits around her, of course, but Echo realized as soon as that fateful (insert color of egg here. Gold or Silver) egg was clutched, Echo knew that she’d have to abort.
Both fortunately for her and unfortunately for her, though, Sivarith was moody and in pain while clutching her eggs, and one event led to another and Echo had a spontaneous abortion.

Post by Brekka and Panitath on Nov 4, 2010 4:56:05 GMT -5
Classes have been Brekka's world and her focus at the weyr is in learning how to care for her unique lifemate. Panitath is growing almost as quickly as the gold queen and bronze consorts. No one in the Weyr seems to know exactly what she will be but the adult male dragons are treating her like a queen and by extension her rider like a queenrider.
She still likes to practice her weaver skills but doesn't have anywhere near the time for it she once had. Panitath is quite demanding of her time and attention.
One evening after Panitath was asleep she went for a soak in the hotsprings and met L'dron there who seemed a bit uncomfortable with her state of undress. She was interested in him and his dragon Heroth.
Interestingly enough she's told to begin classes with Sorelle on what is expected of a queen rider and will soon be moving to her own weyr.

Chloe and Alorath Summary:
Chloe has had to deal with a difficult injury for both herself and her dragon and her focus has been on getting them healthy.
Her other prime event was when she found she was pregnant. She pulled together a special meal for Tobias for when he returned from his work at the tannery. She had dressed in a rather revealing costume when the Weyrleader walked into her weyr looking for Tobias.
She had known R’enh from Benden and his dragon had caught her Alorath in the past but in this case she was a bit embarrassed and tried to cover herself. Luckily Tobias returned and after R’enh left they had dinner and she told him he was going to be a father.
She has flown thread in the queens wing when it was close enough to the Weyr for her to get there without going between and jeopardizing her pregnancy.

Post by Linda on Nov 10, 2010 23:10:54 GMT -5
Linda:
Linda was first taken to some survivors before her brother left to find their other sibling. From there she was able to get to the new and safe Dragon Weyr and hold, only to find out her brother is supposedly dead with no word on her other siblings. Quickly she threw herself into her work as a healer in order to keep back her grief.
Interestingly enough she has just recently been searched, with a clutch recently laid on the sands no less. Still working as hard as ever, Linda is absorbed into her new and old duties. Though now her mind has started to wander as to her family and old life. Along with the thoughts of if she will impress haunt her as well, so she hopes she does not disgrace her brother B'n.
B'n and Growath:
Interestingly enough Linda's Brother, B'n, and his dragon were not dead as some have thought. Instead with the falling rocks from the disaster hit his head, Growath went between to hopefully a safe place neither of them knew. B'n had lost his memory and without his rider's memory Growath was unable to contact anyone.
Slowly over a long course the Bronze Rider's memory started to come back and he went to search for his sister again. Only to find out that Linda had went with many others to this new Dragon Weyr. Now he is on the road to find it, with his sister hopefully alive and others of course.

L'dron
The then-called Landron was unwillingly Searched upon arrival to Dragon Weyr, being informed by the Brownrider that carried him from Ista that he was a suitable Candidate. The then-Journeyman Fisher was so overwhelmed with everything that had happened, he decided to go about his daily life as if he had never been informed of this, completely in denial. It was on one such morning, after finding sufficient material to construct new fishing gear, that he went out to do his duty: fish. However, instead of finding the lake like he had intended...he came across a damsel in distress, Ceinwen, and quickly came to her rescue- killing a wherry that was attacking her.
Over the next few days, Landron warmed up to the idea of being a dragonrider, and visited the eggs regularly after Chalarath laid her clutch.
On the day of the hatching, Landron Impressed the third dragonet to hatch; his bronze Heroth, and forever became L'dron. Life has become hectic ever since, full of fun and exhaustion as L'dron and Heroth grew ever-closer.
One evening when L'dron had the rarest time to himself, he decided to go relax in the hotsprings, where he met Brekka, the Silverrider of Panitath. Ever since the encounter he has developed a liking to the woman, but hasn't dared to pursue any type of relationship due to Heroth's immaturity.

Eralynn and Liirith
When the entire group of refugees escaped the Northern Continent, Era and Liirith were left behind unknowingly when a meteor struck Liirith in the wing, causing the pair to crashland. Liirith was grounded and Eralynn broke her forearm in the event.
Through a miraculous event, The pair survived and healed over the four months of being stranded on the abyss that was now the Northern continent. However, just as Era could not sustain life any longer, a patrol caught sight of the duo and they were rescued by half the Weyr, including Queen Sivarith and her rider, Lady Sorelle.
Back at the Weyr, Era was up and walking around thanks to Master Garion's excellent care, and Liirith's wing was given a clean bill of health from the Dragonhealer, Echo. They were both still too weak to fly in their assigned place in R'enh's Dawn Strider's Wing come the first Threadfall, so Era took up residence in the Phoenix Wing, along with the Queenriders.

B'lor and Imahyth
B'lor led a Wing of Fort dragons to Dragon Weyr. Shortly after his arrival, he was sent on an expedition to explore the area. The expedition team found a clutch of flitt eggs. B'lor later Impressed a gold from that clutch, and he named her Star. Shortly after the flitt hatching, B'lor was promoted to Wingleader of the Threadsbane Wing.
When Chalarath rose, Imahyth gave a good chase, but lost to bronze Mnoranth. B'lor ended up with Greenrider Roux. Radanth rose soon after, and Imahyth chased, but was distracted by Sivarith and lost favor with the Green. Later, when Sivarith rose, Imahyth was the victor.

Post by Roux and Radanth on Nov 13, 2010 14:42:10 GMT -5
Radanth rises with bronzes, browns and blues giving chase. Sorelle's Sivarith flew into the group of chasing suitors, sending them into confusion and Radanth into a rage. Sivarith knocked J'lor's Tonuth out of the chase and then left the skies as Radanth dove in ire at her barely escaping her capture by a brown. Radanth's pride was marred and she was tiring. It was then that she chose her mate, Morisath, the brown who had stayed focused on her when others had turned toward the golden interloper.
Roux seeks out her former weyrmate to give him a piece of her mind. She is outraged by the behavior of his newest flame. J'lor is in a foul mood himself and the two grumble together over a few glasses of wine.
Radanth's flight is the beginning of an intense liaison between Roux and K'rill. They both seek one another out after the mating flight's of Beth and Sivarith. It is uncertain where, if anywhere, the relationship is going. During the Threadfall, Roux works in formation with B'lor's wing. At a point in the fall, Morisath appears in the air beside Radanth and burns a patch of side strafing Thread from the sky. Sparing Roux and Radanth injury. However, K'rill is scored in the process.

Post by Darvin on Dec 26, 2010 22:24:43 GMT -5
D'vin picked up the remnants of Ista Weyr, and left with them, eventually coming into the path of the main group of now Weyr- and Hold-less folk and dragons. One of the early members of the Weyr, he was both Groundsmaster and Candidatemaster, though he later relinquished the latter title, as the Weyr became more fully established. He took Nerystimon and Evelie under his wing, to an extent, and generally became sort of a father-figure to much of the Weyr, even as he cared for his former Weyrwoman. At her passing, and that of her dragon, however, his focus shifted more fully to the maintenance of the Weyr. Formerly K'rill's Wingleader, D'vin disapproves heartily of the young Brownrider, though he has, for the most, kept his counsel.
At this point, however, D'vin is at the Hold, with Evelie, discussing the death of Hatral, and the succession to ensue.
As for K'rill -
His arrival at the Weyr with his four Wingmates brought with it some change, including his placement as Wingsecond of the second Wing of the Weyr, at B'lor's behest. Early in, he won his first Flight - Taking as his prize the Greenrider, Roux. Since then, things have changed radically. The Threadfall shattered his confidence and resolve, showing that all his training and fancy formation-flying meant nothing in the face of the true threat of Threadfall. However, his men, well-trained and -disciplined, rallied, with minimal losses, and quickly became proficient Thread-fighters. He himself was scored when he unthinkingly swept to the rescue of the Greenrider, Roux, atop Radanth. He little understood the reasons behind his own actions, at the time. He grieved deeply for the severe wounding of the Bluerider from his former Wing, who had flown straight into a cloud of falling Thread, due to bad judging of distances, and a too-hasty between during the Fall. Roux, however, rescued him from the depths of his miseries, and swiftly turned him around, reawakening his purpose and drive.
Over a candlelit dinner in his Weyr, K'rill finally asked Roux to be his Weyrmate, much to both his and her surprise.
