Lessa has failed.
In her daring and foolish jump to the past, the young dragonrider was lost to the cold of between. Benden now faces the coming Pass alone with the failing faith of the Holds and a group of Renegades bringing new and dangerous ideas to the Pernese people.
In the face of this disaster, day-to-day life has become a dark struggle against both Thread and fellow humans. With low morale, a barely functioning weyr, and 50 turns of Thread to look forward to, will Pern survive this Pass?

All the Pretty Dragons is a canon-color, AU, intermediate to advanced, play-by-post roleplaying game based on the Dragonriders of Pern novels by Anne McCaffrey. Set after the events of Dragonflight, All the Pretty Dragons explores the possibility of Lessa failing to bring the Oldtimers forward and how Pern deals with the lack of protection from its greatest enemy.

Current Events
To provide more dragons for the Fall, the new weyrlings have been sent 35 Turns into the past, allowing them to return to the present fully grown.
There are flitters to be had! If you can find them. Anybody can go looking for the elusive beasts on the coast of Southern, and even Impress if you've got what it takes. (Meaning food and a little bit of luck.)
In the aftermath of Fax's take over and subsequent fall, the holds he held are beginning to squabble over borders. The disputes grow more and more violent as mercenary bands are thrown into the mix.
